Merrimack College Senior Defenseman Aaron Titcomb will be signing a contract with the Adirondack Thunder of the ECHL. The 24 year old Charlestown native is hoping to suit up tonight when the Thunder travel to Worcester to take on the Railers at 500pm. After 4 years at Merrimack Titcomb finished with 102 games played, 1 goal and 14 assists. Just this week Titcomb won the 2018 TMR (The Mack Report) Fans’ Award. Nearly 5000 votes were cast and Titcomb received 90% of the votes. The Warriors finished their season 12-21-4 (7-15-2 HEA) after bowing out to Boston College in the Hockey East Quarterfinals 3 weeks ago.
The Adirondack Thunder are currently in 2nd place in the ECHL’s North Division at 39-23-3-4 with 85 points. They trail division leading Manchester by 1 point. Both teams have clinched a playoff berth. The Thunder are 4th overall in the Eastern Conference. Adirondack has 3 more games remaining in the regular season. Today at 500pm vs Worcester, Friday April 6 at Manchester at 700pm, and a home finale vs Brampton at 200pm Sunday April 8th. Tickets to all games are still available.
