The Crimson travel to Hanover, NH to take on Conference & Ivy League rival Dartmouth.

The Big Green were all over Harvard for the opening few minutes. It looked like the Crimsons’ weekend troubles weren’t quite behind them. A Dartmouth penalty @ 4:42 seemed to put Harvard at ease. Their play gradually got better and ultimately led to the games 1st goal by Ryan Donato @ 13:54 when he beat the defenseman to a lose puck at the Big Green blue line. Donato outraced the defender and put one past the Devin Buffalo. 2 minutes later Devin Tringale would add to the Crimson lead when his pass out front caromed off the defenseman’s skate and past the unexpected goalie.

Dartmouth has been flying all period. They are banging Harvard every chance they get. They might not have the speed or pedigree of Harvard but they are matching in the compete level. Wiley Sherman was caught pinching by Dartmouth’s standout Troy Crema. He was in on a 2-on-1 but deked out Merrick Madsen to pull Dartmouth within 1 with 3:35 left in the 1st.
